All our chairs are made to order by hand in our workshop. This gives us complete control over the assembly process and means we can configure each chair to your individual specification.

Fancy a paint job? We can even colour the outer shell of the seat in a choice of over 200 colours.

Standard features

Carbon fibre seat
Trekinetic K2 all terrain off road wheelchair from rear

Ergonomically moulded to follow the contours of the human body, Trekinetic’s unique carbon fibre seat has been designed to optimise pressure loading and provide support exactly where it’s needed. It’s available in two sizes, 16” (40cm) and 19” (48cm) and can be used in conjunction with a variety of cushions and supports.

Suede lining

Our suede lining provides a soft yet supportive level of padding that can be used on its own or in conjunction with additional cushioning. It can also be removed if you need a bit of extra room!

24-inch wheels
Trekinetic 24" wheel options including mountain bike tyres

All Trekinetic chairs use pneumatic 24” tyres that are big enough to roll over pretty much anything, but small enough to roll under a table or desk.

Choose smooth or mountain bike tyres as standard, or upgrade to extra-wide whitewall or blackwall tyres, which are great for the beach. Spare sets of wheels are available if required.

Varicam system

Our patented Varicam system allows you to change the angle of the wheels by simply turning a bar under the seat. Set the bar to ‘Mean’ for extra stable, off road use and ‘Lean’ for indoor use. 0-16 degrees in 10 seconds. Zero tools required.

Nitrogen shock absorber

Our patented, rear shock absorber helps ensure a smooth ride at all time, while also acting as a tilt in space mechanism to alter the angle of the seat and change the weight distribution in the chair.

Handrims

Oval shaped, easy grip anti-freeze plastic rims for those that want them! Most of our customers are quite happy popping on a pair of gloves and just grabbing the tyres, so these are entirely optional.

The GTE’s power comes directly from two 24V 120W motors in the front wheels, delivering up to 6 km/h – making it perfect for use on pavements or any other type of terrain. This also means that removing the wheels reduces the weight of the main seat so you can load it into a vehicle one piece at a time.

Manual power toggle
